2021 Endorsements for City Council
South Central Brooklyn United is considering endorsement in a number of City Council Districts in 2021. We are currently reaching out to candidates with questionnaires and conducting interviews. Please watch our social media or reach out for information on when these interviews will take place. We hope to talk about endorsements at our February meeting.
As a small group that wants to put (zoom?) boots-on-the-ground in every district we endorse in, we have a very high threshold for endorsement: 66%. To be eligible to vote, you must have previously attended one of our meetings in the previous 12 months and paid membership dues of $25 (if you have trouble with this amount, please reach out, we will continue to make appropriate exceptions).
We will be conducting interviews and putting them & the questionnaire on our website and social media platforms. See our "2021 Elections" tab for videos and questionnaires.
